Antony Frederick Mavere
Operations Manager
Born and raised in Arusha, Tanzania, Antony brings a wealth of expertise to Avid Safari. Along with his role as Operations Manager, he holds a Professional Tour Guide certificate and an Emergency First Aid certification from The Professional Tour Guide School (PROTS). Antony's education and experience give him a comprehensive understanding of coordinating with Avid’s teams and suppliers to ensure exceptional customer service for every guest. In his free time, Antony enjoys traveling to new destinations, sampling local cuisines, and sharing his adventures with friends and family.

Lisa grew up in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Coastal Mountains, and temperate rainforests. Her love for nature and wildlife led her to Tanzania in 2007, where she fell in love with the Serengeti. Lisa is currently based in Vancouver, Canada, but has previously lived and worked in Arusha, developing extensive knowledge of Tanzania’s tourism industry and expertise in travel planning.
